WNUF Halloween Special
Directed by Chris LaMartina
In 1987, a TV news team tried to contact spirits in a haunted house. But something went wrong. Three decades later, the recording of this spooky special has finally surfaced and viewers can now see what really went on that fateful night - complete with commercials! Think GRINDHOUSE meets PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and you’ll know what to expect from this hilarious parody of found footage horror. Anyone who watched ‘80s TV is sure to laugh at the scarily accurate fake ads for video rental stores (remember those?), psychic hotlines and Satanic panic books. Watch if you dare...

What a smart and silly commentary on the gaslighting of media and the horrors of consumer culture. This playful film asks us: would we even be able to recognize a fear-worthy situation through the fog of lies planted in our comfy escapist-centered world?
This won't be for everyone but I really enjoyed it. The nostalgia and the strange form of boredom that comes from these advertisements made me feel like a kid, and I like the choice they made with the ending.
Ok so this was unexpected good but very unfocused, i enjoyed the 80s vibe and the live cam feel they went for but they overdid the commercials and they had a real lack of scares. I enjoyed it for what it was but it will be boring to a lot of people
wasted time on commercial breaks
Had a cool 80s tv vibe with a spoof feel to it. Would watch again for the laughs.
