Determined to uncover paranormal proof, hotel employees Clair and Luke begin an investigation of their own. But when odd guests check in, the pair start to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to end up mere footnotes in the hotel's long, unexplained history. Loved it! The ending was a little sudden and loose
anything from ti west has my vote
Really liked this film. A slow build, character driven, old school ghost story. Very well written, decent characters who were really well acted. Great cinematography and lighting. Doesn't rely on constant jump scares and visuals but when things are seen, they looked really effective. Overall, a very good film.

I love Ti West but this is the worst of his work that I’ve seen. Very slow, story was weird, not many scares, and it didn’t have the style that a lot his later stuff has. Probably could’ve cut about 20 minutes of the movie too. It did have some decent makeup effects and one kind of gory scene but I don’t know if that makes this worth watching. I would recommend if you are a Ti West fan looking to complete his catalog but that’s probably about it. There are way better ghost/haunted house movies out there.
