A random invitation to a party in the hipster neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn leads a man into the hands of a rogue collective intent on murdering him for the sake of their art, sparking a bloodbath of mayhem and hilarity. Saulnier is love Saulnier is life. I've loved this movie since I saw it on netflix and put it on during the middle of the day for the fuck of it. Hilarious, well directed, and genuinely disturbinv towards the end. Jeremy Saulnier is the only director who shows that gun violence can be scary as well.
Not groundbreaking or anything, but entertaining.
loved the fuck out of it.
