Personally wasn't a fan of this at all. Explicit violence aside, I found it difficult to watch. The story is brutal and twisted in a way that I didn't enjoy.
I was prepared for some uncomfortable scenes regarding a 12 year old girl being raped and groomed, and they were in poor taste. But was hoping for the film to make up for this... but it really didn’t. If you like Freidkin, watch bug - it’s loads better! Only two skulls, and that is purely for some really incredible acting.
Solid indie style film
Brilliant film, twisted as hell, and somewhat disturbing, but OMG I loved it. McConaughey was a creepy sick puppy, and as scary as hell. Great script and acting throughout. Not for the faint hearted that is easily offended or upset. Karen’s do not watch this, the manager doesn’t want to hear your complaints.
Absolutely disgusting. Would never watch this movie ever again. Felt uncomfortable when Dottie was raped by joe. She was a 12 year old girl. Traumatising.
