An American Werewolf in London
Directed by John Landis
In this 1980s horror classic, two men are attacked by a werewolf while on vacation in the English countryside. Jack dies and David is taken to a hospital, where he starts to have visions and dreams in which Jack urges him to kill himself before he transforms into a werewolf. Will he listen? Don't bet on it. Famous for funny films like ANIMAL HOUSE, John Landis wove hilarious bits into the scary story, kicking off the horror-comedy trend that inspired many other directors. Michael Jackson was so impressed he enlisted Landis to helm his famous "Thriller" video. Contains violence and gore.

best practical effects in the game
Solid werewolf movie. The practical effects were really well done and I thoroughly enjoyed the transformation sequence. The black comedy aspects also served to keep the film entertaining throughout.
With a rare mix of Black Comedy, nightmarish scenes of gore and pain, a groovy soundtrack, and a suprisingly poignant love story this movie has everything. The editing is perfect, the movie glides around, showing much more than it's telling. The dialogue is aptly snapping and pop-culture driven. It never reveals its secrets, and is yet very easy to follow. I could say more, but maybe you should just watch the darn thing. Hope you found this helpful
