Every week, The Last Drive-In series offers an eclectic pairing of films, running the gamut from horror classics to obscurities and international cult favorites. And from time to time, special surprise guests will drop in on Joe Bob and Darcy the Mail Girl.

LoodyPoody thinks people who enjoy the tangents and insights are "not horror fans and certainly not fans of Joe Bob Briggs", and true fans are the ones who find the character offensive (for transgressions like "not being up to speed on the newest correct terms, even if he is well-intentioned. ") Look bud, I know she's the brains behind the show and that he's in on it. That's not the point. It's not hate for Diana Prince, it's dislike for the role she plays. You ever tried to enjoy a podcast but there's that one host who thinks they speak for the audience and constantly kills bits, but that's "just their character"? The previous mail girls didn't scratch the record like this. Yeah, some of us could listen to Joe Bob for hours. It's definitely more entertaining than someone muttering, "Ugh. . . " And if that's too long for you there are these things called "Pausing and coming back later" and "skipping ahead. "
