I was very much looking forward to this as Orphan Black is one of my favorite series of the last decade and I was ready for more. Sadly, this is pretty abysmal. I should have known when none of the original creative team was involved in any way that it would be a let down, but this is just bad. The plot, after two episodes, is boring and not in the least but intriguing. The original hooked you in the first 5 minutes before the opening sequence even rolled. Two episodes in and I'm not sure what I'm even watching. The characters are not engaging, the plot is dull. Krysten Ritter is so horribly miscast it is almost painful to watch. She cannot act in a drama, at all. The other actors do their best (Avan Jorga is a standout so far), but with this script and having to play off of Ritter... I truly feel for them. A MASSIVE missed opportunity here. Very disappointing all around for a massive fan of Orphan Black.
