Liked it! If you’re looking for fast-paced, look away. This feels more like a series of contemplative, slow-burn character studies of alienated French people and, for contrast, one pair of sisters who feel each other’s emotions too much. The ending was a bit too pat and elements of it were predictable (fire —> swimming pool —-> duh!) but I enjoyed the characters, as morose and removed as they start out. At least each one has an evolution and an emotional character arc. And it wasn’t clear who the bad guy was until episode 4 or so, which added to the mystery…
Top marks for acting and production values. The plot meanders around a bit and perhaps the pay off won’t satisfy everyone but all in all it’s worth a watch.
I don't get it, nothing happened. first 10 minutes was decent, then nothing. Soap opera. And what's up with the foreign dub then english subtitles.
Excellent series. It , excuse the pun, ignited my interest and curiosity to know more. The characters are well developed with back stories of their own lending to an unfolding of where they, as well as this baffling, intriguing story leads. Really worth a watch and in my case a binge watch.
Excellent show - very mature writing, with great characters.
