Adding to my previous comment, Dana Gould also needs to look at Charles Addams's original cartoons. They are, again, anything but "It's raining, let's have a picnic in the cemetery. " Shudder, do us all a favour and don't invite him back.
Nice refresher.
Dana Gould needs to watch the original Addams Family TV series again, only awake this time. He praises Addams Family Values for making the family the sane ones and everybody else crazy. That is *precisely what the series did* week after week. Look, I was TEN when the show aired, and I could see that.
Amazing show that introduced me to new movies to add to my watchlist. Very informative and perfect for anyone who loves horror documentaries.
Its fun but shudder has done better with these kinda docs. I like most the experts and directors involved. But a few of them are a drag and could really use a replacement. Sorry but if you have only directed a bad shudder orignal or you only serve purpose to lecture the audience with points of view about a partiular a race why are you here? Also 5 episode season? Kinda ridiculous.
