A classic slow-burn of revenge of the underdog. Living for that last twisted 20 minutes, worth a watch just to see the contrast of his changed mental state and eratic guilty/freed terror. *gently tossing rats to make rats look like they're jumping at something*
If Willard just applied himself to his job, none of these events needed to occur. With an interesting cast portraying characters all obsessed with their own perspectives, Willard offers a story of surprising depth for what boils down to a creature feature.
Absolutely marvellous plotting on so many levels. Maybe not your typical horror but so worth watching so you can catch the sweet vengeance wreaking.
I love rats. I loved this film. I just wish it had more horror along the way.
Rats. Just rats
