Great concept and was an inventive way to bring back storyline. Always a great watch.
So this ancient evil gets beaten by this single mother and child with no training, no athletic prowess no history like some scenes I just fine do pointless like when he basically helps the kid cross the street(I lost my shit at this scene like how the hell a kid cross a highway unharmed why Freddy was carrying him out the way would have died if he just left him), he then kidnaps the kid I’m thinking he needs a ritual to do something no he could have just killed him but did nothing had no reason to keep him alive the a lil 1 on 1 with Freddy and this guy actually struggling like how is this scary like Freddy is scary in concept but not this movie
i don't love the franchise but this was good, maybe my second fave after the first one. other than that i only like the one where there's a bunch of kids in an insane asylum.
Not my favorite. I’m a huge fan of the franchise. But I find this movie kind of weak. I give the concept credit for being ahead of its time. But the movie plays out like a love note to the original movie. It’s a nostalgia act at best. Oh, and that kid is annoying as shit and Heather Langenkamp is not a good actor.
One of the best NOES films. Very original story, brought back the faves from the first movie, what’s not to love.
