An elusive serial killer, Trick, returns each Halloween to kill innocent victims. Detective Mike Denver faced Trick once before, shooting him off a five-storey building. When Trick's body disappears into the town river, everyone thinks he's dead. Only Denver believes he's still alive. But now, as strange occurrences disrupt the peace of the town, nobody can deny that Trick has returned. Obsessed with catching the murderer, Denver will do whatever it takes to stop Trick claiming their next victim.

Packed movie! So much to like and so much to dislike. Kinda wants to be Scream, Halloween (original, plus recent sequel) and almost Saw in places. Starts off really strong, gets bogged down in the middle with its sort of Saw/Seven stuff and then actually ends really strong. Totally designed to have sequels, and y'know what? I'd watch them. In fairness, this is more like a objective 3/5 – personally I probably enjoyed it 4/5.
Absolutely terrible if it had anymore plot twists and holes it would be Swiss cheese. Who can I sue to get the hour and a half I just waisted back.
Good movie with some top notch kills, however a lot of the characters felt a bit nothing as if they were there just to be killed. although i still enjoyed the movie thoroughly
Fun kills, started off strong but as the film progressed, especially the ending, felt meh and got stale quick. Overall a B tier slasher, with some great kills but lacked personality
