The Tunnel: The Other Side of Darkness

Awesome to see the BTS of this film. . . I always loved it, and no matter how many times I watch, when the homeless man scene comes up, I always have to remind myself that this is NOT a real documentary, it is one of the most well acted scenes in horror

While I absolutely dig The Tunnel, this doco runs about an hour too long. Well researched with plenty of insights into the making of the original movie, the film makers are perhaps a bit too full of themselves, and its ironic that torrents has pretty much given way to streaming when it comes to horror movie distribution, as this site would indicate. Still waiting on the sequel to the original movie, but started to think maybe we are not going to get it.

Kind of ironic how much nicer, kinder and well behaved fans of violent, gory, spooky and silly movies are! I’ll keep checking in every once in a while….you guys get 5 skulls….this movie gets one based solely on its title….i haven’t seen it and won’t be seeing it….thats also ironic. It’s even more ironic how much irony is in this review that’s totally not a review. It IS a review, but not of this movie…..I’ll stop now…we all know where this will end if I don’t ….✌️🫶:sign_horns::sign_horns:

I just watched Psycho Goreman for like the 15th time and stopped by to savor my own cringe! I can’t believe this is still going on. Mrs Death Metal wasn’t at all surprised and smiled at my initial smart ass remark but was more than chuckling by the end of my diatribe. The few who engaged and respond have renewed my hope that not everyone is a jerk and were WAY kinder to me than I was to this movies title! If this were a YouTube comment section I would’ve been given the business (and rightfully so…Christ there are SO many snarky things that I would’ve told me)
