The Sadness
Directed by Rob Jabbaz
When a virus spontaneously mutates, it gives rise to a mind-altering plague. The streets erupt into violence and depravity, as those infected are driven to enact the most cruel and ghastly things they can think of. Murder, torture, rape and mutilation are only the beginning. A young couple is pushed to the limits of sanity as they try to reunite amid the chaos. The age of civility and order is no more. There is only "The Sadness". Note: The Sadness contains graphic and extreme violence/gore, as well as brief strobe effects in the end credits.
In this extreme horror, a young couple try to reunite amid a city ravaged by a plague that turns its victims into deranged, bloodthirsty sadists.

This movie was really well made and very creepy at times. I didn’t know what to expect and I really enjoyed it. I see a lot of comments say this is a zombie movie, it is not. They may act zombie like at times; however, nobody comes back from the dead. People get infected with a virus that makes them homicidal and sadistic. The movie is very gory and on par with the terrifier movies. There are some great kill scenes. The acting and story are excellent so definitely watch this if you’re ok with a lot of blood.
Love “zombies”, hate tasteless/pointless rape scenes, so went in cautious… Banger movie. Depicts just enough so you know how depraved the creatures are, without being the director’s personal porn and making you question his hard drive.
Well, I made it through the film. It has some memorable scenes and gore, but really not for the average moviegoers…kind of on par with Terrifier for gore. Worth a watch if you’re among the Brave and the Bold though. It’s really reminded me of the old Avatar comic “Crossed” but in movie form…even down to the main villain carrying a fire axe.
5 SKULLS BRO. The effects, the blood, the score, the acting. It was all so raw. i could go on and on.
Excellent!. . . this was inspired by the adult graphic novels/comics. . . CROSSED. Very well written and the characters are very sympathetic. Highly recommended, very brutal, not for the faint of heart. . . AND NOT FOR KIDS,LOL!
