Great film! Mark O'Brien crushes it as both director, writer and actor.

Watched this with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It's a cautionary tale about the importance of being honest with yourself and others about who you truly are, owning the mistakes you've made despite the fear of being rejected or criticized for them, and accepting that typically, you can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't always pick how you will have to atone for your 'sins', and you certainly can't expect to be absolved after. I grew up in a very dysfunctional family and went to catholic school. . . can't really say my family is catholic. . . but I can appreciate the justified and unnecessary guilt one can live with and the resulting mistakes one makes in an effort to counteract or clear the slate. . . it never really works out does it? ಠಿ_ಠ
