The Living Dead Girl
Directed by Jean Rollin
After crooks spill toxic waste on a grave, a bloodthirsty female zombie arises and begins feasting on anyone who crosses her path. After a few gruesome slayings, the undead Catherine remembers her old life, and her best friend (and possible lover) Helene. Catherine tracks down Helene, who ruthlessly begins luring victims to her home in order to keep her dear friend alive. French horror auteur Jean Rollin’s most successful - and goriest - film is an emotionally wrenching masterpiece that brilliantly queers both the vampire and zombie subgenres.

Exceptional on its own terms, and intriguing enough to inspire me to further seek out Jean Rollin's films. Fans of Gialli films/ Italian horror in general would be foolish not to hop the border to France and revel in the magic of Cinema Fantastique... particularly Jean Rollin's oeuvre.
had me at zombie vampire
Crazy with low-budget blood and flesh eating gore, but it was decent. Plus I HATE nosy people. They had it coming!
Solid zombie flick!
If you're not gonna be a Romero zombie, be this. Damn good flick.
