I tried for 45 minutes to get into this but the story isn't strong enough And I may be over zombie brain smashing. How are they even alive. How many years has it been since they originally became zombies. Most of them haven't even eaten. Poor things are so tired🥺

Decent first episode. Now, back to binge watching The Simpsons.

When Lori died and Rick was seeing visions of her in the prison, I remember that really hitting me hard… Like you could actually feel the guilt and loss he was experiencing. And when he was trying to walk the fine line between getting Jessie out of her abusive relationship and not getting involved since it was her choice, I could feel his frustration with the rest of the community looking the other way. But when they hurriedly threw Rick and Michonne together (much like they did with introducing and killing off new characters in the later seasons), I felt absolutely nothing because they picked the two actors/characters (not sure which) with absolutely ZERO ONSCREEN CHEMISTRY TOGETHER. The first 5 or 6 seasons, the show took time to build characters and relationships, so when someone died or got together or split up, YOU REALLY CARED. But around season 6-7, everything became rushed. Like when Heath or Carter (bet half of you have to look him up) died, who cared? So this “long awaited” spin-off… does anyone actually buy this relationship or are they just happy to see Rick Grimes again, regardless of the situation?

Okay Ayn Rand is a great writer and Darcy's view on the name Philadelphia was unnecessary. And The Walking Dead is as bad as I thought it was becoming. So all in all not a great viewing
