I enjoyed this quite a bit. Emphasis was 50% on movies I was very familiar with, and the other half I had never heard of. Would have liked more about 'Pulse' which is awesome. Would have also liked more about one of my fave J-horror movies, 'Noroi: the Curse'. Great movie.
Much too much emphasis on RINGU. There are so many other great J-horror films not even mentioned.
the woman at the begining says j horror only existed in the 90's snd only certain directors were sllowed to be called j horror. no. racist. wrong. ignorant. edit her out and it might be watchable
Great documentary, well served by having access to the original filmmakers discussing their works and the creative environment of the time. Gets a bit talking-head-y, but as I was interested in what they were saying, it didn't bother me
