This movie did not scratch my horror movie itch, but it was good haunted house documentary.
The Houses October Built has an intriguing premise and a creepy atmosphere, but it falls short in execution. The found-footage style works well to set up the spooky vibe, and some of the haunt scenes are genuinely unsettling. However, the pacing drags at times, and the characters make frustrating decisions that pull you out of the experience. While it has moments of tension, the payoff feels underwhelming. It's worth a watch for horror fans who enjoy haunted house themes, but it doesn't fully deliver on its potential.
Waste of time. story was very thin, not even suspenseful. The ending was very predictable.
i like this movie its got a lot of charm
I thought this was a really fun found footage horror movie, I'd definitely recommend it if you enjoy the genre. The ending felt a little abrupt, but at the same time it was a solid ending that didn't drag on. A fun road-tripping style Halloween movie.
