Do not waste your time lol. It’s just a horrible slow burn that you wont even understand because all of the main plot points are left up to interpretation. You’ll just torture yourself trying to understand what happened and what the meaning of it all was. 2 skulls because it’s well acted and beautifully shot.

Racism, homophobia, religious extremism. Yeah, I get it. I love a good slow-burn horror film, but the only horrifying thing about this movie is the 2 hours you'll waste watching where the most exciting thing is a kid hitting another kid with a stick.

A movie about a sociopathic order under the guise of a religious community that provokes and stirs fear amongst a bunch of entitled, pretentious, impressionable, racist little a*holes.

Awesome casting, acting, and cinematography. It's clearly trying to say something about religious indoctrination and mob mentality, but maybe the basic themes were a little under-cooked in the script, and many story points felt a little pointless, with hardly any clear closure by the end. Overall it's still an interesting, well-directed flick.
