Gripping Satanic stuff -- chanting demon voices, an evil oaf who does the devil's bidding, ripped Heavy Metal dude dad channeling dark spirits to create his art, creepy high art snobs. All this movie was missing was the record playing backwards with a secret message trope. One skull penalty! But the almost holy and redemptive ending earns it back.
This is one of those movies where your mind says "WTF. ,protect the children, theres a child molester on the loose!" The fight at the end was the best part of the movie where daddy saves his little girl!
s'ok
it's fine. not as good as The Loved Ones, and I'm not sure what i think about that final shot, but you could do worse.
An overall positive experience, but this was definitely overhyped for me. A badass film, but with a lot of important details left unexplained.
