The Dark and the Wicked
Directed by Bryan Bertino
On a secluded farm, a man is bedridden and fighting through his final breaths while his wife slowly succumbs to overwhelming grief. Siblings Louise and Michael return home to help, but it doesn’t take long for them to see that something’s wrong with mom—something more than her heavy sorrow. Gradually, they begin to suffer a darkness similar to their mother’s, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that an evil entity is taking over their family. A SHUDDER EXCLUSIVE.
An evil entity takes over a family in this horrifying new tale from the director of The Strangers.
Cast: Marin Ireland, Michael Abbott Jr., Julie Oliver-Touchstone

yeah so this movie is aggressively overrated in my opinion. i was waiting to watch it for quite a while but at some point this movie felt like it refused to end and became quite frustrating. like they should have tried to leave on day 2, meanwhile its day 6 and they are still being moronic and are still there
Not a fan. I love a slow burn horror movie, watched a great one yesterday called Oddity. This one didn’t do one jump-scare, or dream sequence that I didn’t expect in advance.
So scary. The atmosphere was so heavy. I loved it.
