The Dark and the Wicked
Directed by Bryan Bertino
On a secluded farm, a man is bedridden and fighting through his final breaths while his wife slowly succumbs to overwhelming grief. Siblings Louise and Michael return home to help, but it doesn’t take long for them to see that something’s wrong with mom—something more than her heavy sorrow. Gradually, they begin to suffer a darkness similar to their mother’s, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that an evil entity is taking over their family. A SHUDDER EXCLUSIVE.
An evil entity takes over a family in this horrifying new tale from the director of The Strangers.
Cast: Marin Ireland, Michael Abbott Jr., Julie Oliver-Touchstone

Just watched this movie for the 3rd time. I have so much appreciation for the constant dread that it makes you feel. Throat closing, heart pounding dread. It’s a wicked movie 🐐
the incredibly mid and mediocre, listen you can tell a trauma = horror movie a million different ways, yeah its overdone but it can be told well, this is coming from someones whos all time fav movie is Hereditary but this was just bland ,cliche , and boring i truly struggled to stay awake with this one , and i dont like shitting on movies.
