The Collingswood Story
Directed by Mike Costanza
A separated couple attempts to keep their friendship alive by video chatting. But a chance encounter with an online psychic initiates a disturbing reign of terror. An indie precursor to "screenlife" frightfests like Unfriended and Host, THE COLLINGSWOOD STORY is a still-scary gem ahead of its time.

Thought the acting was okay . . . could you do better? I like the female lead in this, not enough of a story to hold my attention, I’m afraid - heavy use of strobe lighting at the end! Sat through a hell of a lot worse.
Not bad, but didn't hold my attention through the seriously bad acting. Decent climax that kind of ditched the found-footage conceit to get creepy angles.
aesthetic = rad. movie = hot garbage.
Like a cheap podcast but with visuals. It was half-way watchable, but they totally whiffed the ending. If you have already watched it, pretend that at the end, the boyfriend had arranged it all as a hoax to get his girlfriend back. Wouldn't that have been a better ending?
The nostalgia factor was cool, this may have been the first of it's kind in terms of webcam found footage, so big points for that. However it was just kind of boring, the ending was predictable.
