The Call
Directed by Timothy Woodward Jr.
In the fall of 1987, a group of small-town friends must survive the night in the home of a sinister couple after a tragic accident occurs. Needing only to make a single phone call, the request seems horribly ordinary until they realize that this call could change their life…or end it. A SHUDDER EXCLUSIVE.

Not the best storyline but points for a unique concept. this movie kept my attention though out. I liked the 80s vibes for the first half of the movie but it lost that once the teens entered the house. I liked the actors.
This has an excellent premise but it fell a little flat for me... too bad, because all the elements were there and it's a great set-up. I'm kinda surprised it was as dismissable as it was
It was fine. A bit slow on the start.
Secondly, I was hooked before I started the movie because of Lin Shaye and Tobin Bell I absolutely adore those two! I quite love the story, reminded me of short stories that you would read to get a quick thrill. The shots and the colours in the film were absolutely beautiful. The practical aspect in each of the scenes is so underrated. If you’re looking for a scare the pants off me movie, this isn’t one but if you are looking for a dabble of mayhem and the supernatural this is the movie for you.
the special effects and lighting of this film can only hide how dog shit it is for abour 20 minutes. not worth the time
