Terror Train

A nightmare journey to hell begins when a group of college students play a cruel prank on their resident ‘nerd.' Several years later and the same group hold a New Year's Eve party aboard a privately chartered train. There's only one problem, they are joined by an uninvited guest.

The idea behind Terror Train had a lot of promise but was not executed very well. The premise of a killer murdering passengers on a party train could be a lot of fun, instead the movie just doesn't work well for me, it is rather slow for the amount of people to be killed on the train, and the killer is just way too obvious. The movie is a little boring, as we pretty much know who the killer is 10 minutes after the movie begins. The bright spot of the film is Jamie Lee Curtis and her amazing performance, coming off of her starring role in Halloween.
I enjoy Jamie Lee Curtis and the story but it is definitely longer than it needs to be
Better than I remembered, but still about 10 minutes too long.
I liked this more than I thought I would. A great 80s slasher film with a fun twist!
One of my fav from the 80s
