T'was okay. I couldn't really understand why the girl couldn't lift up the hood of that car. All the killer did was knock the support bar out of the way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You should be ashamed of yourself for this one Shudder. You are usually so good Shudder. This was a disappointment. It pushed a Political agenda and glaringly so. Killing off all the men including the O.G Killer. The Liner about Toxic Masculinity. The two Black Characters having to be the final girl. The Political agenda was obviously with this. It was very feministic. It didn't stay True to the source material. The Original 2 Slumber Party Movies didn't push a Political agenda. They were just good 80's horror fun. Pushing Political agenda's it was makes movies Today fail so often. Because people want to enjoy a movie now have a Political agenda in their face. Using a Cult Classic to be Political shame on you Shudder.
I really enjoy the movie. Just the last twenty minutes was a let down. I did enjoy the boys slumber party scene very funny.
This is how a remake is made: take a “bad” movie (bad is in quote because the original is more of a B class movie) and improve or make it better. Sure, this is a made-for-TV movie, but they got away with some good gore and left some to the imagination. It’s a fun and entertaining movie. My only complaint was how the last 10 or so minutes of the movie went. Felt kinda cheated.
Really fun take on the slasher. Had quite a few twists that I would never expect. Might be a bit too fast paced, but I still really enjoyed it. Fans of the Scream franchise should get a kick out of this.
