I really enjoyed this kind of surprised by the negative reviews but to each their own. Unsure of when it first started but it really picks up the pace when they go to Alcatraz prison cool to see it in a movie, it definitely does go over the top with campiness. I liked it though, ending especially the end credits music was great.

Devo and Toni / Basil: not just peak 80s; / pure delirium.

It's a film that's boring at first, with a monster or villain who doesn't measure up, with stupid characters. The only positive point is when the main character communicates with the dead later in the film which completely breaks the contrast of the film by giving a more humorous tone, which I liked. But unfortunately, it wasn't enough to save this film.
