A lot of these stories felt like the writers had a twist ending they wanted to write and then had to find a way to get there, but they're all pretty short and none of them spend enough time setting up a story outside of the endings for them to have much of an impact, especially after so many of them in quick succession. The connecting tissue between all the individual shorts is also pretty weak, the only real connection being a single song repeated very unsubtly in every short film and an ending that didn't really land for me. It's a competent enough anthology that I don't feel right giving it below three skulls, but competent is kind of all it is.
I’ve seen worse but I’ve also seen better .
Fair. Some real gems. Some not so much. Worth a go, but not a classic. If the team that developed it sticks with it, I reckon they'll do some good stuff. Well acted, I thought, too.
Some decent shorts, but really too pretentious for it's own good. When you're low budget, you gotta learn to stay in your lane.
I love anthology movies, this one was ok, there was quite a few different stories, they lasted about 10 or so minutes each, so made it better if one story wasnt great, it was over pretty quickly. i likee the actors, especially for them all being unknown. I have definitely seen worse on here for sure..i would have said 3.5 stars
