The acting is a touch stiff and the practical effects are a bit cheesy, but for a 6 minute short film with a clearly low budget, they did a fantastic job and I’m guessing their (minor) issues were only due to said low budget. The narrative is clean and concise, and the fairly obvious conclusion still managed to shock me when it happened. Makes me curious what a longer story with a higher budget based on this idea would look like.
I thought the body horror was effective, pretty good short.
