Second half redeems this
I don’t understand why this got five skulls. Dubbing/acting was atrocious. I felt nothing for the actors, except the time I laughed when the machete makes impact. The film work was sloppy like it was filmed on an iPhone or something. It took way too long to get to the point. Granted, I loved the outcome. It was just 30 minutes too long.
I haven't said this about a horror movie in a very long time, but i couldn't finish it. Made it about 3/4 of the way through and it never got thrilling.
I was thinking I guessed the twist, only to learn I was only entering the ballpark for an elegantly played and surprisingly satisfying game.
More than half way and decided that it was very slow, lacking the action that I wanted. You can call it ‘slow burn’ it never really amped up. I like the idea, if they had just given me more action with the “zombies “
