Damn good movie. Suspenseful, well acted, and bloody. Took some nice twists and I genuinely felt like these were real characters, not just shells. Well done.
This is actually the second movie. The first movie came out in 1994 when the father played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was a college student and worked at that same forensic medicine institute that his daughter will later work at. That is where the story first started and also where you find a very healthy Peter Wormer. The first movie is called Nightwatch.
Totally unnecessary sequel with an odd choice of title but equally entertaining. It was interesting to watch the films back to back and see the changes in writing/cinematography. I think this one had better pacing and writing for some of the characters. The film tried to hold onto the villain reveal for too long given how easy it was to guess after we're shown the 1st kill. It was also a shame they chose to write out/couldn't get Kalinka as she was a champ in the 1st film and I enjoyed the actresses performance.
ok movie. not scary at all.
If you enjoy revenge stories then you will like this one. Great acting doesn’t hurt either.
