I enjoyed this. I kept going back and forth between his faking it and it’s a prank or his in a dream to its really happening to him
This was a fun romp. Highly recommend if you are looking for some cheesy, over the top horror comedy.
I think it absolutely was intentionally funny, well-crafted (some of the shots are quite dazzling) and a gentle lampoon of modern life. BTW somebody asked what was the pink stuff he kept progressively pouring more and more into his coffee. It's Pepto Bismol; the implication is he has a stress ulcer. I don't usually like slow burn but this one has a rhythm that kept me, till the end. The end felt slightly rushed and a little anti-climatic, therefore minus one star.
i understand this isn't a movie for everyone. i personally was drawn into the story because of the orchid keeping, bird loving anxious shut in (he's just like me fr). it's a slow build, but the colour palette of this movie was delightful, and the ooky spooky score, and good acting kept me occupied. impressed with the small, claustrophobic set of the apartment. i liked the fresh spin on a haunted house, and an absolutely bonkers ending. excellent romp!
Waste of time
