A fun creature design is defeated by electricity, zero budget, bad lighting, and what I assume are local theater actors. And how the hell did the monster sneak into Bernie's basement?

Giving this 80s B grade film two stars unfortunately. Liked it for its cheesy qualities but honestly just a OK movie at best.

A space monkey who crash lands on Earth and sees that he can't get back into space thinks he might as well have fun killing as many humans as possible, with several human characters who are stupid and a crappy storyline that makes the story not move forward.

YUP. THIS.

A sloppy, low-effort, and oddly paced movie. Despite being 80 minutes long it felt like it was 40 minutes too long. There's nothing really here. There's no camp or energy; it's not gory or sleazy; and, most damningly, it's too boring to really riff on. Only watch if you want to see characters move about zero sense of urgency while in life-or-death situations.
