Completely unnecessary remake with a much less talented cast than Last Shift.
I watched this on Shudder on Prime before I switched to this site. I enjoyed this remake a lot, I felt the additional elements added a bit more weight to the story and made it its own original story. You can easily watch The Last Shift and Malum and be satisfied watching both because neither are quite the same. Some genuinely scary moments I was not expecting.
It was a solid cult, psychological thriller with the necessary blood shed. Was not expecting the ending to play out the way it did. If there is a sequel, I would watch it for sure.
It was good but the original was better
was hoping for more.
