I wasn't sure about it going in but it's more horror in the sense that the situation is truly horrific. It isn't chilling or anything and it's not action filled - the main character isn't out murdering men and getting revenge in that sense which I appreciated. The acting was good and I surprisingly really liked it. Don't go in expecting a slasher or a traditional horror movie as it's more of a drama but it's pretty solid.

This is both one of the most mid and one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. I wanted to gouge my eyes my eyes out with a spoon while watching it just because of how slow it was going. I didn't find much wrong with the acting, though it wasn't the best acting I've ever seen. The plot does have potential and seems really interesting though it just wasn't pulled off right in this movie. The ending confused me too. Sometimes I like it when there isn't a solid ending to a movie, though again, it wasn't pulled off right. We get to know that the old truck guy isn't the guy who killed Rosie's sister, but we don't know who is, and sure, we get a shot of that one guy in the car, but we don't even know anything about him character-wise, let alone if there's even any leads to him being the culprit. Unless you like very boring movies, save yourself the hour and a half and go watch something better.

Very slow burn. People who don't consider this horror are unaware of the reality of this plot. Acting was 50/50: At times it was played out, at other times it was very believable and realistic. The lines between antagonist and protagonist is blurred very well throughout the movie. The ending offered no closure. You can easily put the pieces together to figure out the truth, but the lack of resolution doesn't make for a bad ending, just a really sad and tragic one, However there were a couple questions that they could've answered before ending it which left a lot to be desired. I think they were going for a more realistic/tragic ending, but fell short due to the obvious endedness which was (spoiler incoming): what happened to her captur? A missing persons case where the missing person managed to escape, redeem himself by saving her life and having his innocence proven, but is never heard from again. Like I said, it offered 0 closure even where it would've made sense while still leaving you with a cliffhanger. Instead it just feels like an unfinished movie, but I guess that was meant to be the point, given the character we were following.
