Kaleb is about to turn 30 and has never been lonelier. He’s fighting with his sister over an inheritance and has cut ties with his best friend. Fascinated by exotic animals, he finds a venomous spider in a shop and brings it back to his apartment. It only takes a moment for the spider to escape and reproduce, turning the whole building into a dreadful web trap. The only option for Kaleb and his friends is to find a way out and survive.
Venomous spiders create a dreadful trap in this acclaimed and highly anticipated creature feature. Arachnophobics, beware.

those spiders are creepy and the film wasn't bad at all.
premise is ok. feels like there's too much going on at the same time.
I just finished watching this and it was GOOD but it definitely triggered my arachnophobia 😭
As an Entomologist and spider/tarantula/inverts keeper, myself, obviously this movie is VERY biologically and scientifically unrealistic, but I’m sure that’s pretty obvious lol Watching how the spiders evolved so quickly was fun for me since I know how it all ACTUALLY works. It lost a skull for ONE thing- the absolute ANNOYANCE of the film writers choosing to use the incorrect term of “poisonous” instead of “venomous”. Drove me absolutely batshit crazy. Otherwise this film was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it!
It’s not a bad movie for it being French and have to read it
