When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60 year old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it. The undead golem hones in on the group of vacationing teens responsible for the theft and proceeds to methodically slaughter them one by one in his mission to get it back - along with anyone in his way.

My favourite movie of 2024, must watch for slow burn and atmospheric horror lovers.
An interesting concept! 3. 5 skulls? I enjoyed my walk in nature
Love the Way they film this from the killer’s point of view and had the Kill of the year in this also. That was voted on by the fans of Fangoria magazine and I agree and I think we all know which kill of the year we’re talking about.
Had way higher expectations for this movie, there was one REALLY good kill, and one decent kill, any others were poorly executed or terribly paced. Acting was bad/amateur, killer wasn’t interesting and dragged on for much longer than necessary, shots of the forest and surroundings are cool, but having your movie be 80% walking simulator, it gets boring fast. Not to mention the entire end of the movie was useless as it could’ve been wrapped up very easily rather than drag on the way it did.
I can't help but feel like people need to complain about nothing. The film was great! It gave me something ive always wanted to see. A movie from the killer's perspective. and its an ORIGINAL film meaning it isnt some new remake or retwist on a classic. I cant tell if horror fans are ever gonna be happy, but this movie was great 10/10
