At least the first two films were intentionally comedic. this film was so ridiculous it was borderline spoof!
Better than the other entries in the series. Pretty much a Nightmare On Elm Street rip off including a industrial boiler room scene and a wisecracking killer. What saves it and gives it 3 skulls is the 80's style of filming and rock soundtrack, fast pace and the acting is pretty decent for the type of movie it is. Lance Henrikson gives an excellent performance and 80's villain Brion James gives Freddy Krueger a decent run for his money as the villain Cleaver Max. One other thing that rises above is the subtle hint(Blink and you will miss it) of why the villain became that way which, sadly is all too real a thing. Enjoyable Late 80's horror romp. Not a classic by any means but worth a watch for all haunted house/slasher fans.
Not as goofy and crazy as the first two more of a thriller vibe but the roast turkey was worth it
This has even less to do with the actual premise than the previous movie.
Fun watch with good gore. Brion James will win your heart in this one.
