I've been generous with my skull rating as I did, broadly, enjoy it. It was a bit predictable and the acting wasn't always top quality, for example, *****SPOILER ALERT****** towards the end when her tongue was cut out the acting just did not sell it to me, and at first i kept wondering what the red thing was, then i watched it back and realised. Also the twist that she knew the husband, from the photos in the red room, was supposed to ramp up to another level of terror - it took all power out of the film as i had assumed up till then she was just a random victim, and had been thinking serial killer, etc. Suddenly it was just a mundane tale of jealousy. O hum.
