Hellraiser
Directed by Clive Barker
A puzzle box reveals a realm of sadistic monsters led by a being named Pinhead, who torture the depraved man who unlocks it. Escaping Pinhead's wrath, what remains of Frank hides out in his attic, until a chance encounter leads him to enlist his brother's wife Julia, with whom he had a passionate affair, to lure victims home so Frank can feed off their blood. Clive Barker's essential 80s classic offered audiences weary of slashers a thrilling new alternative: a sexually-charged horror-fantasy with a villain more terrifying"”and goth"”than Freddy or Jason. Contains violence and gore.

i loved the practical effect
I love THIS, and I loved the Rick n Morty version of this. Those are the only two doing justice to cenobites. This film deserves to be taught as a case study in universities.
Gotta be honest, I have never really liked this movie. It's probably good and I just have never dialed into it, but for now. . . over-rated.
Classic. If you don't know anything about the movie, DON'T, just go in raw. Ashley Laurence is great as the final girl and really I have nothing bad to say, just watch it.
A terrifying introduction to one of horror’s great villains, ultimately destroyed by sequels. Legendary special effects and chilling performances. A must-see for horror fans.
