Not the best Adams Family film, but still one I've come back to a few times now. What can I say, its message and tentacles grow on you.
Interesting movie. Adam’s family films are always ones to catch
Wish it had stayed as a period piece in the past rather than jumping to modern day. Would have felt more unique like AMC's THE TERROR. I think they could have pulled it off if they'd just spent more time on script & characters. But that wasn't their priority I suppose. Enjoyed the creature effects, music, & the aesthetic vibes though.
Who knew the Baltic's could do HP Lovecraft much better than the Americans on shoestring budget! In the last few years at least! Enjoyed the dodgy english/american dialogue and jump into subs and general lofi. Lovely location filming too.
As I was watching it I sort of thought it was their version if The Thing or influenced by that movie. Only more attempts at comedy, I guess. Instead of an alien spaceship its a fracking commentary. Fracking bad. It serves its purpose. Not too good or bad.
