Gretel & Hansel
Directed by Osgood Perkins
Director Osgood Perkins brings his terrifyingly unique vision to the most famous of all fairy tales. After being thrown out of their mother’s home, Gretel leads her younger brother, Hansel, through the woods in search of food and work. The children soon discover a quaint cottage where a fragile old woman Holda offers fresh food and bed. The children accept all Holda has to offer, with little thought as to what may be asked of them in return.

I watched this with my partner and we both thought it was really well done. It was a nice mix of a retelling of a story I knew with added elements of a story that I didn't know yet, of the girl in the pink cap. It was well acted, cinematic and balanced. A slow burn for sure but very enjoyable
i liked this alot more than I thought. really cool twist on and old fairy tale
Quite original take on Hansel & Gretel. I enjoy slow burn so this was up my alley. Great visuals & sound.
Pg13 doesnt go good with horror
Very well orignal take on Hasel & Gretel. Nothing scary. not high budget, but did well with the money they had. I recommend for a slow burn type viewing.
