Genuinely so good. I found the pacing to be pretty steady for this kind of film. Eerie, unique and has some of the best music I've heard in a while; it's almost like its own character, it just adds this extra level to the creepiness AS IT SHOULD. Acting is great, this whole thing has me craving more folk horror, especially of the Gaelic variety. Absolutely rewatchable.

A solidly entertaining display of folk horror. Less of a slow burn & more of a slow unraveling that only sinks deeper as it goes. Very visual without aesthetically feeling over indulgent; probably belongs on one of those “movies that have A24 vibes” lists, but I’ll gladly take this over some of the stuff A24 has been putting out recently. It’ll likely fly under the radar in the endless sea of Shudder Original slop - there’s a new one every other day, it seems - but is worth checking out.

As an Irish person, I absolutely love it no clue what they’re saying but it’s a great Irish film because Irish people make the best horror movies
