Very well done. Not the most frightening film but story was very interesting. Actors did a wonderful job. All in All a great watch.
The writing in this movie is phenomenal; the development of the characters and their relationships with one another was a pleasure to watch, and the actors were stellar. The movie is long, yes, but the length came with a purpose and didn't feel like a waste of time. K-Horror has been putting out some real gems over the last few years, and I hope it keeps going!
The set up was better than the payoff.
Delightful. I had google out for the symbolism, but it’s easy enough to follow. Not terribly scary. It builds bonds and compassion for the characters before whipping out the extent of the horror. And because you feel more for the characters, it hits a bit harder than your standard “bogey man”. Satisfying ending. Just looooong.
It was well acted but not very scary. And unless you are well versed in Korean history and shamanism, it didn’t make a lot of sense.
