Absolutely gripping and mesmerizing! The excellent acting, direction and writing had me thoroughly enthralled throughout the film. The film explores its subject matter in a manner that explores the many opportunities that films centred around exorcism's and possessions often fail to. Pulling from a often ignored and dark chapter of Korean history this film is an excellent showcase of what the horror genre can offer, a moving and memorable experience that features characters you'll genuinely care about, one that leaves the viewer eager to see more from the team behind the project. Skip the trailers and buckle in for a meticulously crafted journey! Highly, highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Over the years, Korea has become my favorite country to get horror films from. Haven't delved into too much European horror, and most American horror films are kinda shit, bar the few yearly indie hits. Really enjoyed how this was basically two movies in one.

Please don't listen to the other reviews. I fell asleep 5 times, the entire plot is predictable, don't waste your time watching it. Halfway into the film I questioned why I'm still watching it, but still pushed through. Just wasted ~2 hrs.

This was an amazing watch for my first k-horror film. It felt totally complete and left me feeling satisfied with a strong connection to each character.
