genuinely one of the best modern folk horror movies out there. it's got the suspense and pacing of Incantation, the beautiful rituals of The Medium, and the very place- and culture- specific lore of Impetigore. Asian cinema is killing it right now! (also they have a great balance of eye candy and comic relief in the ensemble cast, so something for everyone lol)
Fav movie I’ve seen in 2025 so far! (Even though it came out in ‘24) It was refreshing to see a different type of exorcism movie that doesn’t rely on an abrahamic religion. It prompted me to educate myself on some Korean history as well as folklore!
