Definitely an art house film. Thought provoking, stunning and definitely left me confused and wondering what the hell was going on. Some really good effects, some pointless gratuitous sex. The ending was also very out of place but idk if I love that about it or hated it about it.

Wow what a trip… great movie

Seeing Mike O'Hearn in this was an unexpected treat. Slow and somewhat tedious beginning but picks up pretty quickly. What seems like nothing but a weak jab at futuristic sexploitation becomes a lot more nuanced as the film progresses into quite the intriguing plot. Fairly straightforward thematic narrative (though still art house) is strengthened by a, though linear, thought provoking plot. Acting was okay, Karrueche Tran was the best. The finale was, without spoiling, very jarring and unfitting (yet awesome as hell at the same time, haha). Very good movie with a few pacing issues here and there, too much sex (not a puritan by any standards and watch worse sexual films regularly, but the sex in this film seemed pointless or simply focused on for far too long in order to add to the runtime) a low budget and slow beginning that hold it back a bit. 4/5.

Had a feeling I was going to like this one and I was right. This was really my cup of tea as I love a good arthouse flick. Think David Lynch meets David Cronenberg's 'The Fly'. I keep finding myself thinking about this film days later. It's like a dreamy nightmare, I love the black and white look of it reminded me of one of my favourite films Eraserhead. Was also cool seeing the well known bodybuilder Mike O'Hearn doing a cameo.

An outstanding masterpiece of arthouse cinema!!
