Demonia
Directed by Lucio Fulci
In what fans consider his last great film, Godfather of Gore Lucio Fulci returns to the startling imagery and bloody excesses of his ‘70s/‘80s classics for an unholy saga of demonic nuns and supernatural carnage: When a Canadian archeological team excavates the ruins of a medieval Sicilian monastery, they unleash the vengeance of a crucified coven of satanic sisters with full-on Fulci fury.

I love a lot of Fulci’s work but this wasn’t one of his better ones. The plot is nonsensical and the acting is pretty bad but it’s Fulci so we’re here for the gore and this movie does deliver on that. This movie is pretty slow in the first half but it definitely ramps up the gore and shock factor in the second half. I’d recommend if you’re a fan of Fulci or Italian horror.
nuns, man.
Not that bad
Pretty good movie
The best Lucio Fulci movie I will never see again
