I really wanted to love this one because it's such a fun concept but the filmmaking was a little too problematic and distracting. The performances are excellent, the blood and gore is great, but it's so poorly shot. For one, it's completely lit in smoky reds and greens which really feels like its covering up the fact that the sets were almost non-existent. That and the constantly swaying camera, moving without pattern or reason, made it feel like this was filmed in a Rob Zombie themed backyard haunted house. Probably the most unforgivable is the fact that there was more street fighting than wrestling, and most of the fights were shot in close ups, so you could barely even see any of the fighting. I also would have like it if the ending had been one scene shorter. Not a bad film, but sadly not great either.

Yes! I was an 80's kid and 90's teen who was so into wrestling. Still love it. This genre-mashup is awesome. Super worth it and fun. Not too gory ;-).
