Beautiful movie. This horror drama vampire movie is absolutely worth watching. The acting, writing, and directing were all solid. It was interesting to see those actors playing very different roles than I've seen them play. The story telling was really well done.
The first time I watched this it was on the foreign movies channel and boy was it great then and is now watching years later. I love love love this take on vampirism and the bending of vampire stereotypes- this movie is a gem and it’s great to see women being in the forefront and the hardships that come with a mother/daughter dynamic while facing immortality. It’s takes you deep in the plot with the running endlessly from imminent death for creating female vampires aspect. Great watch for the girlies!
I LOVE this film. I love Gemma Arterton. I have probably watched this movie about 5 times and just love it each time. A great story and an interesting take on vampires, and how they feed. No need for fangs here, folks. Also, some stunning cinematography. Highly recommended.
I don't often watch vampire films, but this is everything I want from a vampire film. Sexy, bloody, melancholy.
Really enjoyed this movie.
