Blood Diner

Blood Diner

Directed by Jackie Kong

In this campy ‘80s horror comedy, two psycho brothers who run a vegetarian diner, and their dead uncle, whose brain and eyes have been preserved in a jar, collect body parts from female victims in order to resurrect an ancient goddess. Originally intended as a sequel to Herschell Gordon Lewis’ classic BLOOD FEAST, the fright flick eventually morphed into an over-the-top homage filled with deranged kill sequences and slapstick moments that’ll have you howling with laughter. Fans of FRANKENHOOKER and HOUSE should find their cravings for silliness and scares satisfied.

Two psycho brothers collect female body parts in order to resurrect an ancient goddess.

Cast: Rick Burks, Carl Crew, Roger Dauer, LaNette La France

Saw this last year and it is officially my favorite movie ever. I have already rewatched it with friends and am ready to go again. I tell everyone to watch this movie. There is a topless exercise video shoot, a character who is played by like a human-sized puppet, there are so many hitlers, none of these events are important to the plot or explained. This movie is amazing. Jackie Kong is a hero. Watch this immediately.

Whenever I see a really bad movie, I always wonder how the person who financed the movie was convinced to do so. Threat of their grandmother's kidnapping? For more than forty years, I've seen a lot of movies, and "Blood Diner" is one of the worst. It is aggravatingly amateurish with its rubber body parts bought at a Halloween store to its strawberry jelly blood. Stupid plot that could have been told in 15 minutes, stupid "special" effects, stupid dubbing, and an overall stupid movie. The type of person who would think this movie is cool would be a a 13-year-old "D" average student watching this alone in his basement one Friday night.
