Very good set up that gets starts falling apart after the first 20 minutes, when it starts piling on a bunch of goofy lore, rules, and characters. Climax ends up being a home movie version of Ghostbusters, made by a family you dislike.
Tries hard and delivers mostly in a unique way that was intoxicating.
Cool concept, wonderful first act. By the second act, I feel like it kind of falls apart. The characters are flat and appear suddenly, and by act three it’s just a drawn out process that isn’t rewarding enough. I wish it had been just a bit more intriguing.
One of the worst films I've watched.
I walked into this one expecting worse and it wound up being a pleasent suprise. There are some slow parts that drag out but overall worth watching. I would give it 4 solid skulls. Would rewatch and would reccomend.
